On Tour is the debut album The Young Ones Of Guyana. The album was recorded in London back in 1970 and issued on Rampy.
The Young Ones of Guyana were an 8-piece band from Guyana, active mainly around 1970-1973. Their music reflects the diasporic condition: Guyanese musicians abroad, mixing the sounds of home: calypso, reggae, funk, soul, pop.
On Tour covers a wide range of popular reggae, latin and calypso songs of the day, One of the best tracks is the funky instrumental interpretation of Sly & The Family Stone’s Sing A Simple Song with Geoffrey King on Farfisa organ.
